In the Minsk region, the compliance with the temperature regime at workplaces

A month of public monitoring of compliance with the temperature regime in the workplace is held in the Minsk region, BelTA learned from public relations specialist of the regional trade union association Natalia Miloserdova.

As of December 31, trade union technical labor inspectors will conduct inspections and raids at enterprises and organizations, paying special attention to compliance with legislative requirements when working in adverse weather conditions, the condition of sanitary facilities and providing workers with special clothes and footwear.

Natalia Miloserdova drew attention to the fact that trade unions constantly monitor the actions of employers in connection with the onset of cold or heat. The result of this work is manifested in the maintenance of heating and air conditioning systems, heating of domestic facilities, showers, etc. in the serviceable condition. The permissible parameters of the temperature regimes in the workplace vary according to the specifics of production. For example, in some shops of enterprises in winter, the air temperature should be at least 15 degrees of heat. In industrial premises where it is impossible to establish the required temperature, the duties of employers include a clear regulation of the working time of the personnel, as well as equipping the premises for rest and heating of workers, the issuance of warm clothing to them.

On a regular basis, the FPB has a hotline that allows you to quickly identify shortcomings and violations of compliance with labor safety rules and regulations and take timely measures to eliminate them. Any employee can report violations on the phone 8 (017) 203-90-48 (from 8.30 to 10.30 and from 15.30 to 17.30). Technical inspectors are ready to go to the site and check the information.
