The ban on entering the ice was introduced in the Minsk region, BelTA learned from the Minsk regional department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations.

The Commission for Emergency Situations of the Minsk Regional Executive Committee decided not to enter the ice from December 22 until the end of freeze-up in the region. "First of all, the ban is aimed at ensuring safety and preventing accidents in the region's reservoirs." Rescuers also draw their parents' attention to the need to hold talks with children about the inadmissibility of games on lakes and rivers, "the administration noted.
