The dates and venues for the seven major spring regional fairs that will be held in the Minsk region in the spring of this year have been determined, BelTA learned from the Minsk Oblast Executive Committee.

The first of these fairs will be held in Slutsk on March 24 with the participation of the organizations of Kletsk, Kopylsky, Lubansky, Nesvizh, Slutsky, Soligorsk, Starodorozhsky, Stolbtsovsky and Uzda districts. Further regional fairs will be held in Molodechno (April 14), Vileyka, Soligorsk and Zhodino (April 21), in Borisov (April 28), Nesvizh (April 29). Residents of the central region will be able to purchase agricultural products, meat processing products, culinary and confectionery products, manufactured goods, fertilizers, seeds, planting stock, agricultural tools, crafts of folk artists at fairs. Representatives of the meat and dairy industry, agricultural enterprises, farms, consumer organizations, forestry institutions, individual entrepreneurs, organizations of industry, trade, public catering of all forms of ownership, consumer services, craftsmen will present their products at regional fairs.

Veterans of the Great Patriotic War, single elderly citizens and single invalids of the 1st and 2nd groups will be assisted in the delivery of fruit and vegetable products to the house. During the fairs cultural events are planned with the involvement of creative teams.

Also in the Minsk region from March 24 to May 6 at the weekend, in accordance with the approved schedule will be held spring regional fairs.
