The center of safety of the Ministry of Emergency Situations will appear in Minsk in the next two years

The Emergency Ministry Security Center will be built in Minsk in the next two years. The Minister of Emergency Situations, Vladimir Vashchenko, told reporters today, BelTA has learned.

The Minister noted that in the capital there is where to teach the safety of children and adults. However, there is no special and functional space, which is intended for specific purposes. “I think that in the next year or two we will put it into operation,” informed Vladimir Vashchenko.

January 19 marks the 20th anniversary of the bodies and units for emergency situations. “A lot has been done for 20 years. And we don’t intend to stop, we will continue to increase our capabilities and constantly improve efficiency. But first of all, we are working on a warning. To this end, security centers are being created in each region. In December, such a center was commissioned in Mogilyov, which was created with the participation of our foreign partners. EU funds have already been allocated and a good center will be created in Brest, "said Vladimir Vashchenko.
