The issues of housing construction for military personnel in the order of participation with state support are being worked out in Brest, Slutsk and Minsk. This was announced today at a press conference by the first deputy chief of logistics of the Armed Forces - Chief of the logistics headquarters of the Ministry of Defense Alexander Panferov, BelTA has learned.
The provision of housing for servicemen is carried out in two directions: provision of office accommodation and construction of private housing. “At various stages of construction and formation, there are 4 housing and communal services for 6 houses. At the stage of formation there are three houses - in Machulishchi, Borisov, Borovlyany. The housing construction for military personnel in Brest, Slutsk and Minsk is being worked out,” said Alexander Panferov. The elaboration of housing construction in the order of equity with state support is also taking place in Baranavichy.
Now about 10 thousand servicemen are in the line of people in need of better housing conditions. "The Defense Ministry’s leadership is taking comprehensive measures to resolve this issue in a short time. The construction pace has increased in the last few years, which allows us to provide housing for both military and private servicemen,” Alexander Panferov said. “We are planning up to 700 apartments in the framework of 4 ZhSPK build until 2020 ".
A landmark event for the Armed Forces was the completion of the construction of the Vornyany military camp in the Ostrovets district. In the history of the Armed Forces of an independent country, this is the first project of a similar scale, implemented from scratch, Alexander Panferov noted. The anti-aircraft missile regiment stationed there received a modern infrastructure fully covering the needs of the personnel.
Alexander Panferov also noted the importance of the "Sport-shooting complex named after Marshal S.K. Tymoshenko" in the military camp "Uruchye" - it will be actively involved during the II European Games.
