On February 28, an outpatient clinic was inaugurated in the agricultural town of Khatezhino.

The opening was attended by the chairman of Minsk Region Executive Committee Ivan Krupko, the head physician of Minsk Central Region Hospital Garik Barsamyan and other interested parties.

In one shift, 23 patients can be admitted here, in total, 3756 people, residents of Khatezhino, Golovka, Novaya Veski, Taborov and Stary Selo, belong to the healthcare institution. The healthcare facility was built in a short time, in just 5 months.

According to Ivan Krupko, this is a significant event: in October 2019, a meeting with the inhabitants of the agro-town took place, it was precisely where the construction of the outpatient clinic was discussed.

- I want to express my gratitude to Minsk Oblast Executive Committee, its leader Alexander Turchin, for the fact that a lot of attention is paid to solving the social problems of Minsk region. It is developing very rapidly in all directions, and there is a large influx of population. We grow per year by 8-10 thousand people. And it is necessary to keep up with the construction of social facilities. The opening of this clinic is only the beginning: a kindergarten is being built literally across the road. They also began to build a preschool in Borovlyany, two more in Kolodishchi, Senitsa. Kindergartens in Borovlyany and Kolodishchi will be introduced in May-June, the rest by the end of the year. They also started building a school in Kolodishchi, a school in Borovlyany is being introduced, ”said Ivan Krupko during the grand opening.

According to Garik Barsamyan, the chief physician of Minsk Central Region Hospital, the issue of the construction of an outpatient clinic has long been ripe in Khatezhino, because before that, a doctor was brought here from the district polyclinic four times a week. Previously, the FAP worked, in which patients were served by two paramedics; medical care was provided by a polyclinic on Osipenko st. in Minsk.

- The outpatient clinic in Khatezhino is one of the good examples when building health facilities in order to bring medical care closer to residents. A lot of work was also done last year: the outpatient clinic in Ostroshitsky Gorodok was completely reconstructed, the treatment building for 172 beds was handed over. Now there is a design of a clinic in Borovlyany for 800 visits per shift. It will be an eight-story building. This is important, because the polyclinic, which is now functioning, can no longer cope and exceeds the norm of visits by more than three times. Also, clinics in the village of Ozertso are being designed for 200 visits per shift and a hospital with a clinic in Zaslavl. These are the primary objects on which systematic work is going on. According to the schedule, repairs are being carried out in all healthcare institutions, ”Garik Barsamyan shared his future plans.

The head doctor of the new outpatient clinic Natalya Vakulik is a young and promising specialist. The internship took place in Khatezhino and came here to work on distribution. After the opening ceremony of the outpatient clinic, she shared her impressions:

- When they gave me the symbolic key, I felt, first of all, responsibility. Up to this point, the scale of everything was not completely represented. But I already got myself a diary, stocked up with ink, I will make plans to do everything on time and clearly. I currently have 12 people on staff. This is a pediatrician, general practitioner, obstetrician, dentist, medical nurse, registrar, doctor's assistant. Of course, it is very exciting for me that I will be the head, because there are a lot of patients and a lot of responsibility. In addition to medical issues, there will also be administrative and organizational issues. Start of work has been given. A socially significant facility receives its first visitors, who are also happy to open a dispensary. After all, for them it is convenient, comfortable.

It is worth noting that the development of infrastructure continues. Not far from the new dispensary, a kindergarten is under construction.
