New resident company with Chinese capital registered in China-Belarus industrial park

A company of Sinomach Corporation (China) was registered as a resident company of the China-Belarus industrial park Great Stone on 20 March. The new resident intends to create a zone of R&D cooperation and innovative development, BelTA learned from the industrial park's website.

The resident company intends to build a complex of administrative buildings for scientific research as well as auxiliary infrastructure in 2020-2021.

Initially the new resident company intends to implement four R&D projects in such fields as optical instruments, automotive sensors, semiconductor devices, and new materials. The company intends to go ahead with the second stage of the project, too.

Sinomach Corporation is one of the main shareholders in SZAO Industrial Park Development Company. The Chinese engineering company CAMC is part of the group of companies of Sinomach Corporation. CAMC acts as the general contractor for building engineering and transport infrastructure as well as the factories MAZ-Weichai and Zoomlion. Apart from that, YTO Technology BLR Company also resides in the China-Belarus industrial park Great Stone. The company also belongs to Sinomach Corporation.

The China-Belarus industrial park Great Stone is a special economic zone that offers a special legal regime. It is located 25km away from Minsk and is home to resident companies from 15 countries. The industrial park's priority development areas include mechanical engineering, electronics and telecommunications, biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, new materials, and logistics.
