Minsk region will continue cooperation with Iran

Today the Chairman of Minsk Region Executive Committee Alexander Turchin met with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Iran to Belarus Said Yari. The parties discussed further cooperation in various fields.

At the meeting, the parties paid attention to updating further interaction within the framework of the current agreement on trade, economic, scientific, technical and cultural cooperation. During the dialogue, mutual interest was confirmed to develop contacts in the fields of education, healthcare and culture.

The foreign trade turnover of Minsk region and the Republic of Iran in 2020 amounted to 5.9 million dollars, or 211.3% over the same period in 2019.
