More than 300 delegates from Minsk region take part in the VI All-Belarusian People's Assembly

Delegations from all regions of the country arrived on February 11 for the forum at the Palace of the Republic in Minsk. At the same time, Minsk region is represented by 310 delegates, and a total of 2.7 thousand people will take part in the All-Belarusian People's Assembly. Among them are representatives of all strata of Belarusian society and foreign guests from Russia, Ukraine, Italy and other countries.

Thus, among the Belarusian delegates, parliamentarians make up 6.8%, representatives of industry, construction, transport - 30%, government bodies - 14.8%, agribusiness - 8.2%. The socio-cultural sphere, the service sector and the media will be represented by 25.9% of the total number of participants, the power unit - 4.1%, private business - 2.7%. 5.9% were delegated from pensioners, 1.5% from pupils and students.

Slightly more than a third of the delegates are women. Young people under 30 make up 6.3%, at the age of 31-40 years - 17.3% of delegates, 41-50 years old - 35.9%, 51-60 years old - 29.7%, over 60 years old - 10, 8%. Most of the participants are members of the RPO "Belaya Rus".

The first day of the All-Belarusian People's Assembly of the ANC will traditionally begin with a report by the President of Belarus. Further, the forum participants will discuss the results of the implementation of the program of socio-economic development of Belarus for 2016-2020 and outline a plan for the draft program of the country's socio-economic development for the upcoming five-year period. It is planned that delegates will also have access to a “free” microphone.

The main goal for 2021-2025 is to ensure social stability in society and increase the well-being of citizens through high-quality economic growth, building up social capital, creating comfortable conditions for life, work and self-realization. The main tasks have been set - to reduce the dependence of economic growth on hydrocarbon raw materials, to increase the export potential due to high-tech goods, and to launch a new investment cycle.

As part of the event, in the morning, flowers were laid at the capital's Victory Monument on behalf of the VNS participants.
