Top executives of the Norwegian company Yara International led by President and CEO Svein Tore Holsether visited the headquarters of OAO Belarusian Potash Company in Minsk and the manufacturing site of OAO Belaruskali in Soligorsk, BelTA learned from the Belarusian Potash Company website. Yara International is the world's largest buyer of mineral fertilizers.
Representatives of Yara International intended to get familiar with manufacturing processes of Belaruskali in addition to gathering more information about the Belarusian company's future development plans. The sides discussed market development factors and trends during the meeting.
Svein Tore Holsether underlined the high manufacturing standards the Belarusian company maintains. “The safety and manufacturing standards of the Belarusian manufacturer of potash fertilizers have allowed Belarusian Potash Company to earn a well-deserved reputation as a reliable and responsible vendor. It is the qualities we treasure in a reliable partner,” remarked the Yara International President and CEO.
In turn, Director General of OAO Belarusian Potash Company Yelena Kudryavets noted that Yara International is a strategic partner for Belarusian Potash Company. The Belarusian company sets a high value on the trust and respect of Yara International. “This is why we are happy to offer our partners an opportunity to see firsthand the stability, reliability, and effectiveness of the Belarusian potash industry,” noted the Director General.
