More than 7.1 thousand graduates in the Minsk region will receive school leaving certificates. A BelTA correspondent was told about this in the main education department of the Minsk Oblast Executive Committee.
More than 7.1 thousand eleventh-graders will receive certificates of graduation from secondary school this year, and more than 13.9 thousand ninth-graders will receive certificates of general basic education.
As in the previous year, each district has the right to independently choose the most optimal option for the delivery of certificates and graduation. When discussing the organization of holidays, representatives of the local executive authorities, school leaders and parents of alumni take into account the solemnity of the event and the need to comply with anti-epidemic measures.
The last bell in the schools of the Minsk region will ring on May 29. From June 1 to June 9, exams will be held there, after which graduation parties will be organized on June 10.
