The decree on the support of exporters is planned to be adopted in Belarus in the near future, BelTA learned from the Chairman of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry Vladimir Ulakhovich before the ceremony of awarding the winners of the contest "The Best Exporter of 2017".

"The decree on the support of exporters is in the final agreement stage, there is a fundamental decision, technical details are being specified, I think that in the near future the decree will be adopted - I believe that in this half-year," the head of the BelCCI said.

The document will specify measures to compensate for the cost of certification of products from the budget, as well as participation in industry exhibitions. "The certificate on the market of the same EU is expensive, the costs of obtaining some certificates are up to 50 thousand euros, it is possible for each enterprise," Vladimir Ulakhovich explained.

The Chairman of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry stressed that a lot has already been done to support exporters in Belarus. "The state supports all, but the struggle in the market requires an innovative approach, new marketing, and this will have to be faced." The competition is becoming tougher, and it is necessary to look for new approaches at the enterprises themselves, "he concluded.

The award ceremony for the winners of the contest "The Best Exporter of 2017" was held today in Minsk. The winners were 22 enterprises, among them such well-known Belarusian enterprises as BelAZ, Brestgazoapparat, Epam Systems, BMZ, Santa Bremor, Grandma's Krynka, and Belaruskali. The main organizer of the contest is the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
