Belarus reduces export duties on oil and oil products

From January 1, 2019, Belarus reduces export duties on oil and oil products exported outside the customs territory of the Eurasian Economic Union. The decision is contained in Decree No. 960 of the Council of Ministers of December 28, 2018, BelTA learned from the government’s press service.

The export duty rate for crude oil will be reduced from $ 135.1 to $ 89 per 1 ton. The duty on straight-run gasoline will be reduced from $ 74.3 to $ 48.9 per 1 ton, for commercial gasolines - from $ 40.5 to $ 26.7 per 1 ton.

The duty on light, middle distillates will be $ 26.7 per 1 ton (was $ 40.5). The same duty is set for diesel fuel, benzene, toluene, xylene, lubricants and other oils.

The previous time export customs duty rates for crude oil and certain categories of goods produced from oil were changed on December 1, 2018. Then they were also reduced.
