In the Gomel region, it is necessary to develop the construction of individual housing on a commercial basis - this task was set before the construction industry of the region and by the heads of districts at a meeting of the Gomel regional executive committee governor Vladimir Dvornik, BelTA has learned.
According to the chairman of the regional executive committee, the demand for individual housing is growing. This was demonstrated by last year’s experience in the Bragin district, when, while building high-rise housing and individual construction, local residents showed great interest in the second option. "The practice of building individual housing on a commercial basis needs to be developed. This will enable citizens to get quality affordable housing with all conditions, with a land plot and at the same time help solve housing issues in the district centers and in the village and improve the living conditions of people", said Vladimir Dvornik. He stressed that the DSK of the region has good proposals that can be implemented when performing this task.
Vladimir Dvornik instructed each month to develop plans for building sites with individual housing indicating the number of houses in each district. The Governor also noted that in the future it is necessary to improve and think over different projects of sets of residential houses of this type.
