Belarus to use EBRD's €15.5m loan on Vitebsk Oblast Clean Water project

Belarus plans to get a €15.5 million of the EBRD loan for 2019-2021 to finance the investment project Vitebsk Oblast Clean Water. The draft loan agreement between Belarus and the EBRD has been approv

ed by the Belarusian government as a basis to hold talks. Relevant Resolution No.371 of 7 June 2019 signed by the Council of Ministers has been published on the national legal internet portal, BelTA has learned. The Utilities Ministry has been authorized to hold the negotiations and sign the document. If necessary, the ministry has the right to introduce amendments of no fundamental nature.

The loan is attracted for the period of 15 years. The resolution comes into effect on the day of its adoption.
