Belarus reduces export duties on oil, oil products as of 1 July

On 1 July 2019 Belarus reduced customs duties on oil and petroleum products, which are exported beyond the customs territory of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU). The decision is laid down by the Council of Ministers' resolution No.431 of 28 June, BelTA has learned.

The export duty on crude oil went down from $110.4 to $100.3 per tonne.

The export duty on straight-run gasoline shrank from $60.7 to $55.1 per tonne, with the export duty on commercial gasoline down from $33.1 to $30 per tonne.

The export duty on light and medium distillates now stands at $30 per tonne, down from $33.1. The same rate is applied to diesel fuel, benzene, toluene, xylene, lubricants, and other oils.

The export duties on crude oil and some categories of derivative oil products were previously revised upwards on 1 June.
