Belarus wins gold medal at world stamp exhibition in China

The Belarusian mail service Belpochta won the gold medal at the CHINA 2019 FIP General World Stamp Exhibition in Wuhan, China, BelTA learned from the company.

The Pride of Belarus exhibition (stamps issued in 2016-2018 stamps) was awarded the gold medal in Group B for the countries producing from 30 to 69 stamps per year.

The book “Postage Stamps of the Republic of Belarus. 2015” won the silver medal in the Philatelic Literature category.

Belarus presented a wide range of artistic stamps, sold about 10,000 stamps. Particularly popular were the stamps featuring Belarus' national symbols, heraldry, clothing, architecture, flora and fauna.

CHINA 2019 FIP General World Stamp Exhibition was held in Wuhan, China from 11 to 17 June. The organizer was the Universal Postal Union. The exhibition featured 4,683 items from 84 countries and regions of the world.
