The Belarusian automobile engineering company BelAZ intends to put more efforts into developing aftersales service for mining vehicles in Magadan Oblast, Russia in addition to stepping up cooperation with companies in the region. The plans are stipulated by a trilateral agreement signed in Magadan, the company's press service told BelTA.
A presentation of promising products and new models, support services was arranged during the meeting. The sides discussed proposals on improving the effectiveness of cooperation.
Gold-mining companies in Magadan Oblast use over 200 BelAZ vehicles. Their carrying capacity varies from 30 tonnes to 55 tonnes. The main consumers are the companies Susumanzoloto, Berelekh, Status, Itkana, Kolyma Coal Company, and Stroidor. The mining vehicle service company OOO SKM is BelAZ's official dealership in the region. A technical assistance center has been established as well as mobile crews, a technical service outpost, and a consignment warehouse of spare parts in the town of Susuman.
