Deputy Minister of Emergency Situations Andrei Mikhailovich Yurzhits arrived in Starye Dorogi region on a working visit.

First of all, he paid a visit to the guys from school # 2. And it is no coincidence, because an exemplary club of young rescuers-firefighters "Closer to Life" operates here. At the open event "School of an Active Citizen", an important guest answered the students' questions about the conditions for admission to the educational institutions of the Ministry of Emergencies. After that, he closely got acquainted with the achievements of young rescuers and highly appreciated the equipment of their office.

Then Andrey Yurzhits went to the Starye Dorogi regional department for emergency situations. There he met with a team of fire fighters, looked at the conditions of service of workers of the emergency rescue unit No. 1, checked the state of equipment and weapons. The deputy minister talked with the personnel of the Emergency Office and discussed with the rescuers the issues of operational and service activities, personal discipline, as well as the work that is being done today to prevent fires and death from them.

At the end of the meeting, Andrei Yurzhits wished the rescuers achievements, success in their work and self-realization.
