In Belarus, agricultural production in January 2019 in farms of all categories amounted to Br861.5 million, or 98.1% in comparable prices by January 2018, BelTA was told at the National Statistics Committee.
In farms of all categories, livestock and poultry (in live weight) produced 152.8 thousand tons, milk 586.9 thousand tons, 286.4 million eggs were obtained.
Agricultural organizations account for almost 95% of livestock and poultry production (live weight), 97.7% of milk and over 92% of egg production.
As of February 1, the number of pigs in agricultural organizations amounted to 2.5 million heads, cattle - 4.2 million, including 1.4 million cows.
