Summing up the results of the republican round of the international business game "Beginner Farmer" will be held on November 6 in an online format, the secretary of the Central Committee of the Belarusian Republican Youth Union, project coordinator Yulia Zinkevich told BelTA. “This week we are completing the Belarusian tour of the popular international business game. It was held among beginners and already established young agrarians. In connection with the epidemic situation, it was decided to summarize the results online. The Expert Council, which included specialists from the Ministries of Agriculture, Education and the Belarusian State Agrarian University, will meet in the Republican Youth House in Minsk. The defense of the works is scheduled from 9.00 to 13.00. The moderator will announce the order of the teams' performances on the air, "said Yulia Zinkevich. The finalists of the game will not only present and defend their projects, but will also take part in a dialogue with experts, receive advice for the further development of developments. "The finalists 'speeches include a presentation of the project and answers to experts' questions. In general, no more than 7 minutes are allotted for the defense. Of course, when choosing the winners, we will take into account a number of criteria, including the clarity of the presentation of the business plan and accessibility to perception, the use of visual material, knowledge of information and, of course, confidence, "said the project coordinator. Acceptance of applications for participation in the international business game "Beginner Farmer" was opened on April 2. As a result, 36 projects made it to the republican round. Of these, 23 projects were from schoolchildren, 7 - from students of secondary specialized educational institutions and 3 - from students and working youth. "This is our first experience of conducting the game. To participate in it, young people applied and defended their developments at the regional stages of the project in various nominations: animal husbandry, poultry farming, fish farming and aquaculture, beekeeping; plant growing, horticulture, landscape design; field cultivation, vegetable growing; agritourism Agricultural cooperation. Projects of young and young farmers differ in variety - from improving the work of a modern farm, developing a business in an agro-farm, a peasant farm to opening a private apiary, innovative methods of growing strawberries, blueberries and vegetables, "added Yulia Zinkevich. The international face-to-face stage of the "Beginner Farmer" business game with project defense before an international expert council will take place in 2021 in Moscow. Participants will receive an expert assessment of their projects, the winners will be awarded with diplomas and memorable gifts. It is planned that they will be invited for internships in the participating countries - Belarus, Russia, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan and Armenia. In Belarus, the organizer of the game is the Belarusian Republican Youth Union with the support of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food. The Russian Union of Rural Youth provides advisory assistance for the game. The materials of the game participants with preservation of authorship will be used for publication on official Internet resources and platforms of youth organizations of the two countries in social networks.
