The first alley of family trees in the Minsk region will be laid and solemnly opened on April 13 in Victory Park in Molodechno, BelTA learned from the regional committee of the Belarusian Republican Youth Union.
The event is scheduled to begin at 12.00. 15 city couples will take part in it: one of them recently celebrated a print wedding (1 year of marriage), some have been together for 40 years. Side by side with them will work the volunteers of the movement "Good Heart" and the active youth of the Minsk region, representatives of the deputies, the executive branch and public organizations. Total expected about 100 people. A stone with the date of its creation will be installed on the alley.
It is planned that the alleys and parks of family trees will soon appear in each district of the Minsk region.
The initiative of the republican project "Park of family trees" belongs to the Belarusian Republican Youth Union. The project is implemented by the BRSM territorial committees with the support of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environmental Protection, regional and Minsk city executive committees. These will be places where each family will be able to plant their own tree on the occasion of the marriage, the birth of a child. Next to the tree it will be possible to install a tablet with a genealogical tree. An important component of the project is the study of the history of its kind, of its family.
