The construction of the air terminal in the multimodal industrial and logistic complex "Bremino-Orsha" is scheduled to begin in the summer of 2019. The head of the complex’s administration, Vladimir Kostenevich, said this today at a meeting in the Vitebsk regional executive committee, BelTA has learned.
The air terminal will include two storage facilities with refrigerators for storing flowers. The total area of the facility will be about 5.3 thousand square meters. The standard construction period is approximately 12 months. In addition, in April, it is planned to begin construction of a second class A warehouse complex with an area of about 10 thousand square meters in the territory of "Bremino-Orsha". The first such facility was commissioned on February 6, 2019.
The nearest plans of the logistics operator are to send the train from the refrigerated wagons on the route of the new Silk Road from Orsha to China, which is scheduled for March. Now the composition is being formed, which will be lucky mainly meat and dairy products of Belarusian producers. As a rule, such a train is made up of about 50 cars, the time of delivery of goods from 14 to 17 days, noted Vladimir Kostenevich.
From March 1, a customs clearance point will start to operate in the Bremino-Orsha complex, which will carry out operations in relation to goods transported across the customs border by road and rail. The logistic operator is exploring the possibility of organizing, from June 1, on its base labeling of goods that will move to the territory of Russia.
The first phase of the project to create a multimodal industrial and logistics complex in the Orsha district was implemented in February 2019. It includes an access road from the P76 road, 1.85 km long, a Class A warehouse with a total area of about 13 thousand square meters, an administrative building (2.6 thousand square meters), and parking for trucks for 212 places and cars for 30 places, objects and networks of engineering infrastructure. Since the opening of the automotive logistics terminal, about 200 truck-refrigerators have been processed. The average time for unloading one vehicle for carrying out customs control operations was 35-40 minutes, Vladimir Kostenevich added.
