The Republican Olympiad on four academic subjects will be held March 25-29 in Mogilev and Bobruisk, BelTA learned from the head department for education of the regional executive committee.
The final stage of the 35th anniversary republican Olympiad in the Belarusian language and Belarusian literature will be held in the Mogilev Professional Electrotechnical College. About 120 pupils of 9-11th grades of institutions of general secondary education from all regions of the republic, Minsk, as well as representatives of Poland will become participants of intellectual contests.
The solemn opening ceremony of the Republican Olympiad will take place on March 25 at 4 pm in the regional center of creativity, and the closing and solemn awarding of the winners will take place on March 29 at 10 am in the electrotechnical college.
Bobruisk will host more than 70 participants of the Republican Olympiad on world history and the history of Belarus. The venue of the competition selected school №34. The children are also awaited by an extensive cultural program: acquaintance with the sights of the city on the Berezina, a visit to the Drama Theater and the comedy named after V.I. Dunin-Martsinkevich, local history museum, memorial complex "Mound of Glory" in the village Sychkovo, as well as the Bobruisk fortress.
